  • Yeah, I Said Feminist’s Speed-Dating Event

Yeah, I Said Feminist’s Speed Dating Networking Event is full up, and the waitlist is growing by the day. Slated for this Sunday, 4/7, at the SF Playhouse, this afternoon of networking and expanding collaborator circles in the Bay Area’s theater community has had a fantastic response already. Because of its popularity, the organizers are considering hosting another one in the near future, so those of you who can’t make it to this event, can still be early birds to the next.

  • 3 Girls Theatre’s Revival of The Couch

By popular demand, 3GT’s acclaimed revival of Lynne Kaufman’s The Couch has been extended to run through this weekend (April 5 – 7) at Tides Theatre. Directed by Bay Area star Amy Glazer, starring Maggie Mason, Louis Parnell, Peter Ruocco, Courtney Walsh and introducing Hattie Rose Allen Bellino, the play has received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike.

  • Christine Young Directs Anton in Show Business

We’re having a whirlwind week/fortnight! Jane Martin’s Anton in Show Business, directed by WWSF’s very own Christine Young, will be staged at the Studio Theatre on Lone Mountain April 11 – 14, 8 pm. Don’t miss the fabulous performances of USF’s PASJ students in this comedy that follows three actresses as they struggle to pursue their dream of succeeding in show business. Fantasy and reality blur as the women discover just what lengths they’ll go to in order to “put on a good show”.
